...I'm supposed to be writing a paper for my documentary class but, I think an ode to the Silversun Pickups would be a more appropriate use of time. So here goes.

You put Silverlake on my map,
Graced my ears with Lazy Eye
Got me into indie rock
Put me on a street team
Gave me a new favorite band
Made me get hooked on Embedded
And almost got me to convince my parents to drive to Mammoth for your free show.
